2017, astrology, bully energy, full moon, good energy, Mars in Virgo, Mercury direct, Mercury retrograde, Neptune in Pisces, Sun in Virgo, Sun trine Pluto, this week in astrology, Venus inconjunct Pluto, Weekly forecast
This week? Where do I start? I don’t mean with the weekly outlook, I mean in general. So much is going on out in the world.
I will start with the floods in Houston, then move to the west where over 60 fires are raging. Then let’s pop over to Korea where who knows what Kim Jong Un has tested a hydrogen bomb attached to an intercontinental ballistic missile (or ICBM). Interestingly there has also been a 6.3 earthquake in North Korea this morning at a depth of 0.0 km. The USGS says this zero depth and the fact that it is no along fault lines indicates that this is not a natural earthquake. Shortly this after the 6.3 quake, seismology indicated a 4.6 quake, also at 0.0 depth. This is thought to be the result of a structural collapse, perhaps a test tunnel. Korea claims the underground test was a success.
Then let’s move on over to India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh where more than 1,200 are dead and over 24 million people have been impacted by monsoon flooding. This disaster has been going on for months.
While events like what happened in Charlottesville, VA are divisive, events like floods bring us together. I mean, who is going to say to the guy who has the rescue boat but happens to be the wrong color or nationality, “No Thanks! I’ll wait for my own kind? Sad that it takes a disaster to remind us we are all one race, the human race.
Late this week it looks like we have another big hurricane headed for the islands in the Caribbean, then possibly the United States. Where she is headed is still uncertain. Irma is currently a category 3 hurricane and is expected to strengthen. If you are on the gulf, in Florida, or along the east coast, be sure you have a plan to be safe.
The past couple of days the solar winds have picked up speed and this is bringing a new wave of magnetic storms to the Earth. This magnetic activity is activating what scientist used to call “junk DNA” but metaphysics knows is simply part of the evolution of humanity. Science is discovering this “junk DNA” actually has a purpose and it seems to be a higher one than originally thought.
This is akin to the Lions Gate energy that was coming at us in early August. All this energy is positive but just like any change, the transition can be difficult. Just ask almost any of our planet’s flood victims. Probably the reality we need to get a grip on is that catastrophe is our new normal. At least catastrophic weather seems to be. Climate change is real but it is also a cycle. If you would like to know a bit more about this sort of thing, I have included a link as a point of additional study.
This week the looks like a busy one but most of the action should not cause any difficulties. Please note that we will continue to see the seeds of the eclipse grow in the coming weeks, months and years. This month is sure to be another interesting one just like August was.
The Sun is now firmly anchored in Libra energies and on Tuesday he opposes Neptune. This is an annual aspect that put the lines between reality and fantasy out of focus. Tuesday will be a good day to relax and meditate.
Mars has a totally different energy for our Tuesday. He is going to be telling us that play time is over and it is time to get down to business as he leaves Leo and enters Virgo.
The best news Tuesday has for us is that Mercury turns direct. Use caution, however. While in theory, this gives the go ahead to travel and communications, Mercury won’t be back to full speed until September 10, 2017 or out of his shadow until the 19th. Only then are we “all clear”.
Wednesday brings us a Pisces Full Moon. Full Moons are always a good time to begin to wind up our projects that can come to a natural conclusion.
We are now in the Pisces-Virgo polarity. This is service oriented. It deals with our physical and spiritual health, our routine or day-to-day life, and how we organize and put things in order. The key to navigating the Moon energy this month will be in finding balance between what we need spirituality and managing and organizing our everyday lives. Too much order can stifle our creativity but too much creativity can mean chaos.
Thursday there are no major aspects but Friday we have Mars sesquiquadrate Pluto. We could find ourselves wit intensely strong feelings about what we want. At the same time we could struggle to satisfy them. Some folks will lean toward a desire to dominate and bully. When changes are forced, we could see a power struggle or three come to the surface. It will be hard for some folks to keep a level head and stay flexible while at the same time coming up with good ways to reach our goals. Might be interesting to watch this one play out on the world stage.
Saturday Venus is inconjunct Pluto. Time to reevaluate both our close and our social relationships. I know this theme keeps coming up over and over but this is how the universe works. It gives us time to take things slow but we must lean in and do the work too. We can’t just wait until the last minute. Unfortunately human nature does not work this way. We are prone to wait and fight change with nearly our last breath.
This Venus-Pluto inconjunction will probably bring some power struggles and control issues to the surface. Again….watch for this sort of thing on the world stage. We will probably see a great more indefensible and illogical fear mongering.
Saturday also brings the Sun to trine Pluto. Pluto, as you probably know, loves to bring out secrets and expose things we have hidden so we can really get to the bottom of things. This trine will help us focus our energies on what we want to do. This is a positive aspect for beginning a new project. We will also be more able to connect with others who share our interests. Sounds like a winner to me.
Saturday is also a good time to look at all the negative and superficial parts of our lives. Work to get rid of those negatives and superficial parts. This one is currently a real struggle for me. I don’t do superficial very well, but I am trying to get better. Sadly my attempts have been taken for being in a bad mood. I will figure out a way to adapt I am sure.
Hope all of you have a good week. I hope things in Texas get better as soon as possible. I’m also sending energy to the west coast to help put out fires. I do hope the 6 hikers that are trapped on a trail today are rescued soon and get home safe. Remember to smile and be kind to everyone. It would not take much for any one of us to be need of the kindness of a stranger.
