Hello beautiful people!
Last week sure was a cosmically busy one. Early in the week, I felt like I was forgetting something. When I checked, double checked, and learned everything was OK, I was able to glide through the rest of what was to become a very interesting and memorable week.
The outlook for this week’s aspects is much calmer than last week. This will allow me to get into some of the more complex aspect patterns that I have skipped in the past week or two. Please note the effects of last weeks aspects, eclipse, and Lion’s Gate will be with us for a long time. All these will be helping us to raise our vibrations and assisting us in our dimensional shift. Regardless of the level of understanding what this means, I think every being on the planet is somehow aware that we are at the apex of change like never before.
The last eclipse season for this year is now over. The New Moon and the Solar eclipse of 8/11/18 was in the sign of Leo. This marked new beginnings in the areas of self-assurance, romanticism, fun, creativity, sports activities, and children. Look for these themes to show up in your life over the next six months. I can already feel them in my realm.
I know that Leo energy can seem somewhat self-aggrandizing because it enjoys taking center stage. This eclipse energy is more about increasing our personal involvement with others and becoming more loving to all. we will probably never know what motivates the other person or how to best help them, but when we smile we are at least acknowledging them.
We all have people in our lives that cause us some amount of angst and discomfort. There are folks we have outgrown or no longer resonate with. Neither means we can show them love and respect. Sometimes the best way to do that is to just stay away.
Another example would be the homeless person on the street corner, the co-worker you can’t get along with, the neighbor or friend whose choices you don’t agree with. If you choose not to give money to the person on the corner or go along with the friend, that is OK. But what is wrong with waving and smiling to them or allowing them the grace to do things their way? Show them some love.
This is strong Leo energy that some will feel more than others. This energy wants us to love and play more. I’ve mentioned self-care several times in recent posts. Play is a part of self-care and a theme that is going to remain with us for at least for the next six months. Get moving, create some positively fun new habits, and if for some reason you only feel like sitting, get creative with something. Take pen to paper and doodle or write. Or do something crafty. The goal is not to create a masterpiece. The goal is just to create and enjoy the process.
This week there are so few simple aspects that I can catch up on some of the more complex ones. This past Friday (8/10/18) a T-square involving Mercury, Juno, and Jupiter peaked. This pattern began on 8/1/18 and peaks again on 8/30/18. This T-square ends on 9/4/18. The reason this pattern peaks twice is because It begins when Mercury is retrograde and peaks again after he turns direct. Use the energy this brings to go deep and drama free into any challenges in relationships.
The first of August another T-square formed. This one is with Venus, Saturn, and Chiron. It ends on 8/18/18 so we still have at least a week under its influence. This one also has the theme of relationships. Chiron adds some healing into the mix. The Venus energy could also bring up some sort of challenge around creativity or money. Saturn is the focal point of this pattern and offers his wisdom as we offer advice and healing to others.
August 4th saw the beginnings of a Triple and Quadruple Thor’s Hammer. Both of these difficult aspects also aspected the Solar eclipse of 8/11/18. If your head is beginning to spin, you are not alone. The amount of energy we have been experiencing is sort of mind-blowing to think about. Most of us are totally unaware of it but might wonder why certain things are happening to us in the ways they are. All in all, this is another good reason to be kind to ourselves and practice good self-care.
This triple Hammer aspect peaks on Tuesday and is likely to cause some challenging situations. This is dealing with committed relationships of all kinds. That means not only romantic ones but all sorts of relationships. Our being right will not get us very far in these matters. How we approach them will. Once again, I say, BE KIND!
The neat thing about the Triple Hammer is that all three hammers have one common apex which is Pallas, seen here at the top of this graphic. Pallas is about how we get things done. She is the daughter of Jupiter (aka Zeus) and the goddess of warfare. To be good at warfare you have to be wise, skilled, and a good strategist.
The Quadruple Hammer, adds Mars, Ceres, and Uranus to the triple hammer but this one does not share the common apex. Instead, it overlays the other three. All in all this entire mix of eight planets is asking us to do our work. especially, our shadow work. And again I say, be kind to yourself. Shadow work can bring up all sorts of emotions and cause some depression. All of these will be gone by the 21st of August.
The few simple aspects this week are Mars entering Capricorn (today 8/12/18). This is focused, driven energy that looks to our future and the consequences of our actions before we act. Considering this is Mars we are talking about, you might think some anger might be involved. Not so this time around. Instead, we might be a bit cold emotionally, especially when we get frustrated.
The only other simple aspect this week is a sextile between Mercury and Venus. This is going to help us make social connections. This aspect will also bring on the charm and be good for negotiating, business deals, writing or publishing, partnerships or some sort of joint undertaking. This is energy may also bring clarity to romantic relationships or promises we have made.
All in all, it looks like the major theme of the summer are clearing out our old junk so we can make room for new energy. It is the only way to raise our vibrations. Let go of the old so there is room for the new. Our closets and our minds are no good when full of old stuff. The stuff limits our ability to be creative. I can attest to this and am guilty as charged. This is part of my shadow work.
We all have shadow work and relationship work to do. The relationship work might not concern another person but it is about a relationship of some sort. Is it to the past, our wounds, food, fears, or trauma? This energy is bringing a lot up for me to look at and I am happy about that. I hope you are doing ok with your stuff too.
Have a good week this week and don’t forget to be kind to all you meet. And don’t forget to be kind you yourself too.
