Hello again! I have spent most of my morning trying to find a video by NassimHaramein about the vacuum in space. I still have not found it and now it is 1:11 pm this Sunday afternoon. Time to get on with this week’s Astro post, so here we go!
Did you catch the eclipse on this internet? Or were you one of the lucky ones in the world to see it first hand? I watched it on the NASA channel and saw views from several observatories along its path. I also felt the energy last week in my crown chakra and noticed I was a bit tired from it all too. There was also quite a bit of interesting info that came to light last week, or maybe it was all lies? No judgment here.
This week we are between eclipses. There will be another in two weeks and another, two weeks after that. Eclipses help us move forward along our trajectory. Lessons are not always good but not always bad either. It mostly depends on our perception. We can certainly choose to view change and bad and difficult or we can change our perception of it and welcome it. Unfortunately, we humans more often resist change rather than embrace it, and that is OK too. Resisting is a choice.
The nodes of fate or the North and South nodes are currently in Leo/Aquarius and were conjunct the Sun and Moon during last weeks eclipse. This powerful energy is definitely asking us to find our path and follow it. If you don’t know what that might be and you have a natal chart to look at, look for the house or houses where Leo is found in your chart. Where ever this is, it will direct you to where you are meant to me. The South Node is in Aquarius and is pointing your past lives or some aspect thereof.
The place to go if you don’t have a natal chart is www.astro.com
In my natal chart, Leo is in both the 9th and the 10th house. The 9th house rules philosophy, higher education, foreign travel, and publishing. The 10th house rules work, the role we play in our community, and how we relate to our role in society. These are the areas I need to look into more closely in order to be the authentic person I desire to be.
My research today lead me to new revelations regarding my chart. I knew the Sun was in my 3rd house and that rules siblings and short travel, but what I did not realize was that it also rules writing and communication. Perhaps that is why I have continued writing this blog for almost six years. With as much research as I do for it, I suppose it is never too late to wish for a photographic memory either.
The next eclipse will be at 18 degrees Leo and will be an easy, pleasant eclipse. We are going from Full Moon to New Moon and the energy of this is letting go. This speaks loud and clear to me since my natal North node is in Capricorn and that is all about letting go.
I don’t want to lose or overwhelm you with more detail but there are a few last bits to share on the nodes of fate:
1. They move backward through the signs.
2. They will be in the Leo/Aquarius polarity until November 6, 2018, at which time the move into the Cancer/Capricorn polarity. This will be my Nodal return cycle. This polarity, in particular, represents growth.
3. Our nodal return (which occurs about every 18.6 yrs) is one of our most significant generational cycles and activate our life purpose.
Maybe this stimulates you to do some research in this area. If not, feel free to post questions. I will do my best to answer and will also tell you if your question is outside my realm.
Overall the aspects this week are calmer than last week. We are still working with the Mars and Venus energy this week with some. Emotions and feelings seem to be at the top of the list as we process and navigate through these energies.
Today there is a semi-square with the Sun and Venus. Others can cause us some irritation. Pay attention to what upsets us. This could provide a map showing us where we are not satisfied so we can take action.
Wednesday there is a tight square aspect between Mars and Uranus. This can spark some anger for some of us. Restlessness and taking risks are also part of this energy. We will want to resist acting on any sudden impulses without careful thought. However, our will is strong thanks to this aspect and we are willing to fight for our freedom to choose and go against the rules of conformity.
Expect schedule changes and other challenges that might cause us to change our course. This energy is sort of off-and-on, stop-and-go. Frustrating I know, but necessary for our growth. Many will find it difficult to stay on task and focus. The story of my life. LOL
The last notable aspect this week is a sextile on Friday between Mars and Chiron. As you probably know Chiron is called the wounded healer. This aspect is all about taking the lead in our own healing. Our self-confidence is high and we might seem to be driven to take some sort of positive action in defense of ourselves or others.
That is it for this week. Make this coming week a good one. Remember to smile and be kind. I am always amazed at how seldom people I pass in the hall or on the sidewalk will acknowledge another person’s presence. They often seem shocked that someone has spoken to them. Very often they try to avoid speaking and have their heads down on their phones. Ah….the modern world. I love it! It makes me smile! ! ! !
