What a week last week was! I promise this week’s blog will not be as long as last week’s.

Difficult energy is causing us to have difficult experiences with others. Several people have contacted me with questions about what they are feeling. I have noticed some energy headaches myself.

One person asked if Mercury was in some sort of super retrograde and it isn’t. Mercury’s opposition to Mars last week probably felt to many like a retrograde. Fortunately the messenger planet won’t actually turn retrograde again until June 7th. Even so, I would expect to begin feeling his energy change before the first of June.

This week begins with a bang as Pluto and Uranus come to their 5th exact square on the 20th. There are a total of seven exact Pluto Uranus/Uranus squares between 2012 and 2015. This one packs a huge punch thanks to the addition of the Cardinal Grand Cross.

There is also and of chatter on the internet about 20th and this being Hitler’s birthday, anniversary of the Columbine High School massacre and last year’s Boston Marathon bombing. This got me curious about other things that happened on this day through history. Here is a short list I hope find interesting.

295 – 8th recorded perihelion passage of Halley’s Comet
570 – Birth of Prophet Muhammad, founder of Islam (d. 632) (date disputed)
1770 – Captain Cook arrives in New South Wales

1861 – Colonel Robert E. Lee resigns from Union army
1894 – 136,000 mine workers strike in Ohio for pay increase
1898 – US Assay Office in Deadwood, South Dakota opens (I loved the “Deadwood” series on HBO)
1902 – Pierre and Marie Curie refine radium chloride
1903 – 7th Boston Marathon won by John Lorden of Mass in 2:41:29.8
1906 – San Francisco Earthquake
1912 – Opening day for baseball stadiums Tiger Stadium in Detroit, Michigan, and Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.
1926 – 1st check sent by radio facsimile transmission across Atlantic
1945 – Soviet troops enter Berlin
1971 – Barbra Streisand records “We’ve Only Just Begun”
1974 – Paul McCartney & Wings release single “Band on the Run”
1976 – George Harrison sings lumberjack song with Monty Python
1977 – Supreme Court rules “Live Free or Die” may be covered on NH licenses

1992 – Madonna signs a deal with Time Warner for $60-million
2008 – Danica Patrick wins the Indy Japan 300 becoming the first female driver in history to win an Indy car race.

OK…….Moving right along now………..

This week is probably won’t’ be much different from last week but there are a few changes in the forecast. Regardless, there are many triggers in the sky and a lot of energy coming at us now. To top it all off, its eclipse season this week we are between lunar and the solar eclipse.

One of the changes we see this week involves the Sun. Over the weekend the Sun leaves Aries and rolls into Taurus for a month. Taurus energy is h02known to be stubborn, creative and hard working. The bull is very powerful, slow moving, creative and great at initiating projects. He is not so good when it comes follow through and completion.

The Taurus bull is likely to butt heads with some of the Grand Cross energy. Taurus is very respectful of the status–quo. The quick change action and emotion of the Pluto Uranus square is not the kind of energy Taurus prefers. Any change of plans will most likely cause the bull to stomp and snort.

On Wednesday the 23rd, Mars retrogrades to an ominous 13 degrees of Libra to join the other three corners of the Cardinal Grand Cross which are also at 13 degrees of their transiting sign. Yes! AS if we have not had enough intense celestial peaks lately, here is another one. Uranus is 13 degrees of Aries, Jupiter is at 13 degrees of Cancer, Mars is Libra and Pluto in Capricorn, both also at 13 degrees. Whew!

Right now I am laughing at myself because I just remembered the TV pitch man again. I mentioned him a few weeks ago…” But WAIT! There is MORE!”. And there is more.

This is Easter weekend and there is a cross in the sky. A cross symbolizes death and rebirth. Some believe the Cardinal Grand Cross symbolizes the end of the Pisces Age and the beginning of the Aquarian Age. I’ve also heard the Aquarian age has begun already about three times so who knows? This time I must admit it makes more sense to me. Perhaps it is the characteristic Pluto has of transition.

I do believe this is a time of great change and transition on both globally and personally. The Cardinal Grand Cross has four dynamic planets in difficult aspect to each other. Uranus is calling us to change and break free, Jupiter is helping us opening us up for expansion, Mars moves us into action and aggression, and Pluto wants us to change our institutions. (hmm m…marriage is an institution isn’t it?)

imagesSome of the ways we see this energy play out with Mother Earth is in earthquakes, tropical storms and tsunamis thanks to Uranus. Jupiter often blows things out of proportion. This can cause a difficult situation to get worse. Mars is the energy of wars, violence, and mayhem. Pluto the planet that transforms can bring us disasters involving the general public, affairs of state and money. Keep all these things in mind as the coming week and even the rest of the year unfold.

Things will slow down some mid week when Mercury returns to Taurus. This will be a short transit of only two weeks.

Thinks calm a bit more near the end of the week as a Grand Trine appears between the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn. Although this is a short lived aspect it’s gentle calm will be much appreciated. there is a New Moon and a solar eclipse coming next week.

Have a GREAT week and thanks for reading!
